As service providers, it’s very easy to get caught up in the fact that we need to take care of our clients. We (literally) bend over people all day to help them feel beautiful. Whether you’re a lash artist, hairdresser, massage therapist, nail tech - you service others. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And while our careers are satisfying and beautiful - they can be mentally and physically draining. We’re constantly touching people and giving and receiving energy and moving our bodies in unnatural ways! We’re exhausted! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So I’m here to remind you to take care of yourself first. Schedule that massage every two or three weeks, GO SEE A CHIROPRACTOR, take the day off, stretch, go out with your friends, take a nap - do whatever you need to do to fill your cup. How do we expect to take care of others when we aren’t taking good care of ourselves first? (I needed this as a parent as well.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Maybe you don’t currently have time in your schedule - make time. From now on, book your lunch time for the day. Schedule time between clients, not only to sanitize and get ready but to also slow down, stretch, go to the bathroom, snack, relax. You do not need to be killing yourself every day. Your clients love you and appreciate you. Time to love yourself girlfriend! ♥️
