Lemon sharks, like other large fish, have a symbiotic relationship with Ramora. The Ramora keep the lemon shark clean in exchange for protection.… and disco music! Kidding...

The lemon shark is one of the friendliest and social. They get to just over 10 feet long and have no problem chilling and posing for you.
Now for some tiger shark videos. Pregnant females and curious males congregate at Tiger Beach this time of year. A bit of current and poor visibility at times meant some very close encounters to get usable videos or photos. But so awesome!
Lots of Caribbean reef sharks (as well as lemons and nurse sharks) at Tiger Beach! Not just the main attraction. You get so focused on the tigers that at some point to kinda get desensitized to these other guys. But they are plentiful!

Another tiger shark at Tiger Beach - more curious than aggressive but still occupying 100% of your attention - a problem when there are 2 or more :)

Tiger sharks just have that “mean mugging” vibe don’t they? Adds to the intimidation factor in my opinion:) Of course when you weigh 1800 lbs and are 17 feet long it helps. Good thing they are generally slow moving.

Atlantic spotted dolphins in the Bahamas. These social dolphins gain black spots on their bellies as they mature. Super lucky to see them at a safety stop mingling with divers, jacks, and sharks! 🐬
