Hi, my name is Carie.
& I am extension obsessed.

My extension career began as innocently as starting my hair career off being a Yes stylist. Turning away a challenge was not in my character though the importance of ex*****on with education was deep in my bones.

My first installations were... less than amazing. Various methods, trusting clients, & numerous 'adjustments.'

It wasn't until I opened the doors to my own studio that I sat down and asked myself what direction I wanted my career to take. I had been receiving inquires for more advanced method of extensions and unbeknownst to me at the time, embers started to heat up. I was a Yes mam after all, but did I know these new methods?

I'll admit the YouTube search was ON. I hunted for any glimpse into a proper installation I could find, but the content fell short- seemingly industries top secret of it's time. In retrospect I am immensely grateful that I was not able to zip through material that was handed over so easily as it reminded me that I am a knowledge thirsty professional... and as fate would have it an amazing educational opportunity was presenting itself just a puddle jump away in Orlando. Eager to dive into a new world I fell head over heels in love with the ebb and flow, precisely choreographed, until the final product reveled a total transformation with a model beaming with self confidence.

I was hooked. In the next year I recieved four more certifications. I dreamed of my next new install, which methods I could blend, which placement could give the most amazing results, how beautiful my client would feel with the hair of their dreams!

Suddenly, an AH-HAH moment struck. Install after install of blending methods and incorporateling my own new ideas, a method that worked infallibly with every single client surfaced: The Blush & Howell Method!

Coinsidingly I had been on a journey, far behind the scenes. Learning an entirely new side to the business... color decoding, grams, stitch, ethicality, manufacturing, sourcing!!! Blush & Howell Hair Co. Hand tied extensions were brought to life. Crafted for optimal result behind the chair.

Finally my little ember suddenly raged into a full blown career.

I so excited to share what I have worked so hard on and put so much love into.
Even more so I am enthusiastic to bring education and Blush & Howell Hair to aid in revealing the authentic beauty each client already possesses!
