UPDATE: The Silk Monkey will resume operations on 2/20/2021. Until the boil water notice is lifted in the City of Killeen, no facials or vajacials will be performed. Again, if you have had appointments cancelled this week and would like to come in on Sunday, please send a message. We will also have extended hours on Saturday 2/20/2021 to accommodate. Thank you for your patience, understanding and safety.

UPDATE: This is all contingent on safe passage and heating of the building. The roads will ice back over tonight.

I pray that all of you are safe during this time. The Silk Monkey will reopen for business tomorrow at 2pm. For those clients who had appointments canceled due to the weather, The Silk Monkey will be open on Sunday ONLY for cancelled appointments. Please send me a messages requesting a Sunday appointment and we will get you scheduled. Please stay safe during this time.

With school closings and road conditions, The Silk Monkey WILL be open. If you are running late or will not make your scheduled appointment, please give a courtesy phone call and leave a message. Remember, you’re able to reschedule your appointment through the Vagaro app up to 8 hours before your appointment. Be safe and see you soon. The Silk Monkey.

At this time The Silk Monkey will be suspending all facial services due to the increase in Covid 19 in our local area. Those clients effected will receive text/email notifications about their upcoming appointments. The Silk Monkey will also extend a 15% discount in skin/face care products to help keep your skin in its best condition.

As we start a New Year, the Silk Monkey would like to first say THANK YOU to all of you who have continued to support and became new clients this year. Please read below to familiarize yourself with a few changes for the new year.

1. Please download the Vagaro App for all of your scheduling needs. You may use the website to book; however, canceling and rescheduling is easiest done through the app.

2. You MUST cancel your appointments 24 hours before the scheduled time. You may reschedule up to 8 hours before your appointment. This provides ample time for woman to reschedule due to monthly cycles. If you fail to adhere to the policies, no-show/same day canceling charges will apply. This information can be found on the website.

3. Please note the cost difference between a New Client Brazilian and a Returning Client Brazilian. The time slots for these appointments are different
and the cost is different. (If you already have an appointment scheduled the cost will remain the same. If you cancel or reschedule, the new service cost will be applied).

4. If you will arrive to your appointment 5 or more minutes late, you will need to reschedule and the same day canceling rules apply. As much as we would love to build in time for tardiness, that is time that could be offered to another client that would like services that day.

5. Lastly; 😁 make sure you have an email address on your profile. Discounts will start to go out on Monday.
