She was influenced by her mom, Mrs. Denise Benjamin, who has successfully run 'Denise Hair Designs' for more than 20 years. From there, K'Shears developed a passion for the industry.

Her career started in 2000 after graduating from Columbus Tech Hair School in . Her work has been featured in Black Hair Magazine, EnCore Magazine, and Extreme Magazine, solidifying her place in the industry.
