Julie DeGroot graduated at Northern Michigan University with a degree and license in Cosmetology. She has been in the profession for 30 years.
She currently works independently at Independent Haircutters of Kingsford, Michigan. She cuts men, women, and children's hair, colors, fashion specialty colors, hi-lites, perms, shampoo sets, up-do's for weddings as well as homecomings and prom, and waxing such as eyebrows and lip. ****** Important message**** I am still on crutches and my wound infection still healing. I truly not sure when I can come back to work my wonderful clients. I went through alot and will have to learn to walk and be able to stand again. Very sorry for this inconvenience that I unknowingly have caused. I just wanted to let you all know the latest information. Thank you for continuing prayers!
I am still recovering with my wound vaccuum and Antibiotics but healing now that the cause was found for infection. It was a dissolvable stitch that didn't dissolve. Thankyou for the prayers and I will keep you all posted after my Appts. Love you all!💟
****** Updated Important Message 5/6/17***** I am still having problems trying to get my infections to leave with heavy treatment of antibiotics on my incision area. So I now need a 3 rd surgery on it on this coming Tuesday. I won't go into details but hopefully this time with a wound vaccuum helping out will finally work. I am not sure when I able to come back to work yet part time. I will probably need rehab as I haven't been able to walk on it since March 2. I am very sorry for any inconveniences. I love and miss you all. You are wonderful clients and friends!❤
********Important Message**********Update on when I possibly can be back at work is June. I am still fighting my infections in my Incision so still on antibiotics for 3-4 more weeks. I appreciate all my clients and miss you all very much. I Thank-you all for the cards, food and prayers you have graciously given. Thankyou for your patience. Hope to see you all soon!💗
Hi my wonderful clients and friends. I am updating you on my healing from my reconstruction surgery. I had planned on being back to work, but problems in one of my Incisions caused me to have another surgery 3 weeks after the first. I am not able to work yet... I am hoping to be back by May, I see my Surgeon next week Thursday to find out more. Missing you all very much and sorry for the inconvenience! Hope to see you soon!
Hi my wonderful clients... I am having a setback of a infection that stems from a infection from my very first surgery now. On Antibiotic but cannot come back to work now when I planned to. I will try to keep you posted on when I may be back! Thankyou for understanding!💖💗❤
