Heavy on the ME.

That’s not selfish it’s sustainable. People keep reminding me that I can’t pour from an empty cup. So I’m nothing to my family if I feel empty. Sure, I stepped away from something I loved and had a natural passion for, but when that very thing was draining the excitement and drive, it was time to reevaluate life. My husband has always been my biggest cheerleader and supporter but even he saw what a difference it made in me. Here I was telling myself it was just the devil hard at work but then one day I stopped and said, wait, maybe it isn’t. Maybe this is HIS way of showing me the other door and that it’s time to listen. It’s all in perspective. I can kick myself while I’m down or I can look the darkness in its eyes and say, Not today Satan! So yes, I’m still evolving into the new me. I’m not competing, I’m completing ME.

Wasn’t going to post here on my Skin Aloha account but decided it’d be best to hear straight from me, since I’m getting wind that the spa is calling my clients telling them that I’ve resigned.

So…Stay Tuned! There are many chapters more to come. Just deciding which ones to begin and rewrite.
