Salon Reopening Guidelines

Stay in you car or on front lawn until we come out to get you.

Come alone. One client per stylist. Waiting area is closed at this time.

You will be screened for Covid-19 and temperature checked before entering the salon.

Mask must be worn at all times. We do not have a supply of mask. You must provide your own mask that loops around your ears. Holding the mask to your face will not be permitted.

Gloves. In the salon setting cross contamination with gloved or ungloved hands is the same. With strict guidelines in place it is not necessary to wear gloves.

Personal items should be kept at a minimum or left in vehicle.

No food or drinks.

Please come with recently cleaned hair.

Blowouts will be based on infection control, allotted time, and stylist comfort. TBD at time of service.

Bathroom is emergency use only at this time.

CDC suggests high-risk wait, we agree.

We will be utilizing our lovely windows and doors to allow ventilation.

Stylist are required to wear a mask at all times. This will be our biggest adjustment. Salons require daily infection control in a normal setting. These sanitation measures have been adjusted to cleaning and disinfecting everything a person comes in contact with before and after every single client. This takes extra time. At this time we cannot double book under any circumstance. Please be patient as we adjust to our new setting. We will be working very hard to reschedule nearly 8 weeks. This will take a little time. In order to get everyone in we will not be doing children cuts or weekly blowouts. We may also ask evening clients to come earlier than normal as we are also required to do extensive cleaning at the end of our day and again before we begin the next day.
At this time we will be scheduling on a weekly bases rather than weeks in advance. It’s not ideal situation but we will have better control of future situations by this process. We will be scheduling with clients from the beginning of the closure. If you did not have an appointment during the closure you can leave a message and we will add you to our list in the order of receiving.
Stylist fall just behind the “front of the line” for risk of exposure. Our community may not have a high number of Covid-19 cases, we’d like to keep it that way. We will be working diligently to do our part to protect ourselves and our patrons. Hairstylist spend an extended amount of time in close contact with many people during a week. Because of this we will enforce these guidelines and add to them if we see fit.

Hi Everyone!!!
Just wanted to update that we will reopen on May 11. We are still working out the details to adapt to the new regulations. We will only be scheduling weekly right now. This will help if there needs to be any changes. Please keep in mind we are several weeks behind. More details to come. 😃

I’m sure like us you saw lots of stylist making plans and opening their schedules for May 1. The beauty industry is not open yet. According to guidelines the beauty industry is in phase II. That’s 2 weeks IF there is not a spike in CV19 cases. When we are able to return there are strict guidelines salons will have to adapt to. We’ll share more about that later 🤪 Sooooo.... stay home and stay healthy if ya want ya hair did!!! We sure don’t want the rona and have to miss more work. 😃

UPDATE...
We know so many people are ready to get back into salons. Stylist look forward to getting back to work also. As professionals we have to take precautions to protect ourselves and each client. Services in a salon require close contact with no way possible to maintain distance. Lots of people are asking...

Will you be opening May 1?
We really do not know at this time. Sullivan Co is currently working on a plan to reopen.

How will we be scheduling appointments?
After inquiring with many stylist we feel the most fair way to schedule appointments is to start where we stopped. I know, I know.... 🤦🏼‍♀️

Please be patient with your salon and stylist. Health and safety is our number 1 priority always but even more so at this time. We will be required to do things differently when we do return to the salon. Please know that your stylist misses you and we will be doing all we can to get you back in our chair as soon as possible but it will take some time. We couldn’t possibly see 6 weeks of a full schedule on the first day or first week in a normal situation. We look forward to seeing everyone when it is safe to do so.
