FIVE YEARS IN BUSINESS!!! 🥂🥳💞

It has officially been five full years since the first day I opened for booking. May 1st 2021, I was 18 years old, I was 3 months out of esthetician school, and I had converted a spare room in my parents house to my own mini studio. I had no idea what this would eventually turn into!

Now I am 23 years old, in my third location, busier and more booked than I could have ever imagined 🩷

To say I am grateful for the life I’m living is an understatement. I feel so beyond blessed to have a career based around making my clients feel relaxed, better about their appearance and more confident. For the time being I am no longer accepting new clients! I am beyond blessed that my schedule has filled up in the way that it has, and now I want to do what is best to honor my loyal regulars. I want to ensure that those who like to come monthly—can come monthly, those who like to come every couple months—can still come every couple months! I so appreciate my clients who prioritize their time with me, fit me into their busy schedules, and their monthly budget. At this time, unless you have booked with me previously, I will be closing my books to new clients.

An exception to this would be a microblading consultation. Microblading is performed in two sessions, with touch ups usually once a year!

A couple shots from today’s microblading touch up!! 🩷 (Failed to snap a before pic 🥲)

It had been 10 months since her last appointment, and the natural bit of fading since that point allowed us to make a few tweaks. This is what I love about microblading, it’s not permanent! Microblading is considered semi-permanent, with most clients choosing to come in for touch ups around 8-18 months. The old days of botched permanent eyebrow tattoos that last decades and turn completely blue over time are behind us!!! 😅

Today I went over her previous microblading, with a darker pigment as she requested. I also lengthened some previous strokes, and added some new ones, as she was looking for more of a dense, filled in look. Microblading isn’t for life, and that is a pro! Trends change, preferences change, lifestyles change. In most cases, there’s wiggle room for your brows to change as well. Give them a bit of time to fade and we can adjust! Loving the way her brows turned out 😍

Come July, almost two years will have passed since my last change in pricing, and as you know the economy has surely changed a bit since then! From the actual products used on your skin, brows, and lashes, down to the q-tips and cotton rounds used in service, costs have changed. On top of this, I have invested in a new facial machine, upgraded my space, and am constantly seeking out new additions to make your experience at Remedy special! Can you guess which services were done to give her this glow up?? ✨

We did a full brow bundle, along with a lash lift & tint on this gorgeous client, to make her morning routine that much faster! Her main goal was adding symmetry to her brows, and she wanted the “filled in” look, but a lighter ombré look towards the fronts of her brows. I am obsessed with this transformation, and now she can wake up ready to go for up to 6-8 weeks 🙈✨
