I’ve been going in circles about how and when to make this announcement and have decided the time will never be perfect and it’s time to rip off the baindaid, so to speak.

LKSS will be closing its Kingston doors at the end of August 2026. After five years in the Hudson Valley, my husband, daughter and I will be returning to our hometown of Richmond, VA to be closer to family. This decision has moved much faster than we anticipated and it all feels very bittersweet, but I am excited to return home and rebuild our lives and my business there.
I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported the studio over the past four years. Some of you have been with me from the beginning and that support has allowed the studio to flourish in ways I never could have anticipated. For every text stating how excited you are for your next appointment, for every word of mouth referral, for every act of kindness…thank you, thank you, thank you.
Now for the official business matters… the schedule is open until the end of August, so book your appointments and come say goodbye! I will be keeping the web store open with a curated selection of inventory and can ship to keep everyone well stocked with their skin care. I also have a large selection of inventory that I do need to sell before the move. I’ve begun listing things on the website under the SALE section and will continue to add items throughout the summer. Shopify gift cards may be used for product orders indefinitely. The final day to redeem gift cards for treatments will be August 15th. If you have an outstanding Vagaro gift certificate (from 2025 or earlier), those do need to be redeemed by August 15th, as I will no longer have access to that system beyond that date.
I do not have a date for reopening in Richmond, but hope to get off the ground soon after settling in. If you find yourself down there, please reach out, book an appointment, meet me for a drink!
