Hello everyone! It's been a while but we are still here and you have all been keeping us so busy! As of right now we are booking about 5 weeks out! So if you are looking for an appointment for July or August call soon to book! We really appreciate you all for trusting us with your hair, but we hate to disappoint people when we don't have availability. So please call as far in advance as you can. 💜

We are officially reopening next week starting June 9th! We have been busy calling back clients who were previously scheduled and are pretty booked for the first two weeks. But we are accepting future appointments! Please take a moment to read through these guidelines so you can be prepared for your appointment.

💜Please arrive on time to your appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late we may not be able to see you as we are trying to avoid client overlaps. We are booking extra time for each person so we can properly sanitize between each client. We also ask that your come to your appointment alone.

💜You must wear a mask to your appointment. We have masks that adhere to your face with light tape that will allow us to cut and color with the same precision as always. You are also welcome to bring our own as long as it hooks around your ears.

💜When you arrive wait outside the salon. We will open the door for you. We have hand sanitizer for you to use while in the salon.

💜Please pay with a credit card at this time.

💜If you feel sick at all or have been exposed to someone with COVID19 please stay home and reschedule! We have been waiting a long time to get back to work and would hate to have to close down again.

Both Alicia and Melissa have completed the Barbacide COVID certification course and are fully knowledgeable when it comes to proper sanitation and disinfection. Avante is an intimate salon so our occupancy will always be well under what is required.

Phase 1 of reopening for the Hudson Valley started today! 🎉 We are still not open but are hoping salons will be part of phase 2 which can happen around 2 weeks from now! Once we know when our official day back will be we will begin rescheduling clients who had appointments during the quarantine.

We will keep you all updated on our reopening as well as the guild lines for your appointments. Expect to have to wear a mask during your services. Appointments will also be spaced out so please be patient with us as we won’t be able to see as many people per day. Hope to see you all soon! 🌸

An update for everyone! NYS has extended the stay at home order until at least May 15th. We will not under any circumstances open up until we are told it is safe. If you had a scheduled appointment we will continue to contact you directly. If you have any questions at all about how to care for your hair while at home, please reach out through direct message or call! We will be happy to offer you advice on what to do until we are able to see you again! Please continue to stay safe! 💚

Hello everyone! We hope you are all staying safe during this crazy time. Just a little update...we will likely be closed till May at this point. If you have an appointment scheduled for April we will be contacting you. As most of you know, Alicia lives on the other side of the building, so feel free to call the salon if you have any questions. After a lot of serious consideration and reflection I, (Melissa of Avante) have decided to discontinue seeing clients at this time. I am hoping to start back up in April. This was a hard decision to make as I know getting your hair done can be therapeutic, especially in times like these. But I want to do my part to keep everyone safe and healthy. If you have an appointment I will be contacting you to reschedule. I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience. But I will be back when this is over and am looking forward to seeing you all and making you look fabulous for spring! Be well!
