Amy Watkins is a renowned Equine Sports Massage Therapist, certified and practicing in the field since 2001. Amy is known for her 'whole horse' approach, and ability to partner not only with horse owners, but with farriers, veterinarians, and all those involved in the care of a particular horse, to determine the best course of action to benefit the animal. Amy challenges the conventional and thinks outside the box with regard to the needs of a particular horse, and consistently pursues the best course of action for the equine, putting the horse first on all occasions. A veteran equestrian and avid jumper, Amy has an intimate understanding of the anatomy and physiology of an equine athlete, and the challenges associated with keeping a performance horse in optimum health. Amy has a deep comprehension of the mechanics of equine movement, across all disciplines, and is able to translate this knowledge into techniques that tangibly benefit the horse. Amy has worked on some of the top equine athletes in the country, in addition to keeping pleasure horses and even retired horses comfortable and happy. Always eager to learn and improve upon her own vast skill set, Amy frequents clinical studies with veterinarians and immerses herself in the most recent knowledge and information that the industry has to offer. Amy works with all breeds, and will travel to your farm on a flexible schedule. Amy Watkins Equine Sports Massage Therapy is accepting requests for new appointments: message us to schedule a time for your horse to experience the difference that Amy Watkins Equine Sports Massage Therapy can make in the life and comfort of your horse.

She's back y'all! 🐴
A few months after being taken out by a pool noodle horse in front of a group of summer campers, Amy has finally been cleared to return to actual horses - you know, the ones that didn't break her ankle. 😂 She's keeping it light for now but that didn’t stop her from walking in like nothing happened and getting right back to it.
The horses have missed her. We've missed her. The pool noodle horse will not be missed. 😂❤️
Welcome back Amy!! 🥳🥳🥳

"Wait, is that about me?" 🐴 Luke and Mel reviewing a thermal scan - which reads heat patterns to catch inflammation before it's a visible problem - while Ringo supervises closely.
When was the last time your horse was scanned?

Huge congrats to Sarah and Liv (“Love You More”) on an incredible week at the American Eventing Championships - 11th out of 80+ in Novice, and 1st place with their team! That kind of finish doesn’t happen by accident. 🩷✨
Liv got some well earned bodywork from Mel yesterday to help her recover after all that hard work. So proud of this team and grateful to be able to support them! 🏆
Who else had a big competition weekend? Send us a message and we will happily share to celebrate! 🎉

This crew right here 🩷 Couldn’t do what we do without this team - every scan, every massage, every session is a group effort even when you only see one or two of us at a time. So grateful for these people ✨🐴

Massage. Thermoscan. TrueRelief. Cryotherapy. Four ways we help your horse feel better, all in one place. 🙌🏼 What questions do you have about any of these? Ask us in the comments 👇🐴 😊
Walking a client through their horse’s thermoscan for the first time never gets old. 🔥 Heat tells a story your horse can’t say out loud. Curious what a scan would show on your horse? 👇

❓ Did you know a horse has over 500 individual muscles working together just to carry a rider, graze, and swish flies all at once? 🤯 That’s a lot of places for tension to hide - and hands find it long before eyes ever could. 🐴
