Today, that means giving my makeup brushes a good cleaning. There are two especially good reasons to keep them clean:

Clean brushes help reduce buildup that can contribute to breakouts 🧖‍♀️, and

Our makeup colors stay truer when they aren’t mixing with yesterday’s makeup. 🥰

After washing and rinsing them well, I lay mine out with the handles slightly elevated and the bristles angled downward. This helps keep water from traveling back into the base of the brush while they dry.

Nothing glamorous—just a little brush care on a stay-home Sunday. 😊
