That business name has served me well and is still the backbone to what I will be doing going forward. 🩷
I’ll be honest, Friends. Lashing looks a little different these days for me! So, I wanted to collide my two favorite worlds: Lashing + Fitness. 💪🏻
The vision I have for MegaVolumeMuscle is to become your go-to fitness mentor. I’m not here to make you a better lash artist. There are 10000 other lash artists that can teach you better than I ever could. My goal is to make sure you can do your job with as minimal pain as possible. Beauty providers are some of the most unhealthy people and I want to make sure you can not only do your job, but do it for a long time. 💪🏻
It makes me so sad to see so many people close their doors because their bodies are wrecked. So, let’s change that! 🤘🏻
Over the next few months, I will be working on rebranding! It’ll be a little quiet over here in this neck of the woods because I will be building up my content + finishing my CPT course with NASM. 🤘🏻

You guys…I have tried DIY lashes before and lawwwwwd have mercy. They were AWFUL. ☹️
These? Literally a dream. The comb technology makes ALL the difference. Scouts honor- these are insanely comfortable. 🙌🏻
They do require a little bit of patience for your first application. You may or may not get yourself stuck to yourself, but if you’re patient and watch the tutorial, you should be golden. ✨
It’s alllll about the angle of your application tweezers. You have to put your puzzle/tetris skills to the test, but it’s worth the learning curve. 💚

I will be the first to admit that prior to being a ambassador, I TOTALLY slept on their colors. 🤦🏻♀️

I had an hour and half to do a full set. 😅
So, here’s what I did:
🩷Full prep. No matter how little time you have, don’t EVER skip your prep.
🩷Then I whipped out my Double Spike Wispy Premades + Pearl adhesive and I went to workkkkk.
Aaaaaand LAWD. I am in love with these!! 😍
Here’s the lash lesson today: Since I only had so much time, I did not lash every single lash. I lashed the ones I knew I could get the best adherence on. Which was actually most of them because she has beautiful, long lashes. 👍🏻
If you ever find yourself in this position you NEED TO LET YOUR CLIENT KNOW BEFORE HAND. ✨
I let my beautiful client know that:
🩷Premades aren’t my usual jam, therefore I am not as confident in the retention.
🩷 I gave her FULL COVERAGE. NOT a full set. This is why I only charged her a FILL price.
🩷Since we were only able to achieve full coverage, I let her know that they will absolutely hold up for her trip, but once they begin to fall out, she may notice more gaps because I didn’t apply a premade to every single natural.
Transparency is EVERYYYYTHING. Don’t ever be afraid to tell your clients the truth. ✨
Also, HUGE side note here- this is exactly why pre/promades deserve a spot in your inventory. When you are pressed for time and/or your hand/wrist need a break. 💕

If you’re a beginner lash artist, this is for you. 🩷
One of the biggest things that helped me in the very beginning of my career was sitting my ass down on the couch and practicing hand making my fans.🤘🏻
But after the first couple of days of doing it, I felt like I was just wasting product! Aaand I hated that. So, I started keeping the fans that were successfully made! (Don’t keep the funky ones, obviously.) 😆
Snag an empty lash tray or a 30 day pill organizer and when you make your fans, KEEP THEM! Use them as ProMades on the next full set or fill alternating between handmaking fans + using your ProMades! 🫶🏻
Girl, before you know it, you won’t even need your ProMades anymore. 🩷
