Mike came into JT Fades to get cleaned up before his next fight—but this was about more than a haircut.
On October 3, he’ll compete for the 170 lb welterweight title at Cage Wars 76. I’m proud that JT Fades gets to support him, and I’m grateful he trusted me to get him ready.
We kept his natural combover, cleaned up the skin fade, and talked about the support and fellowship that make Klamath feel like home.
That’s what I want this chair to be about: good haircuts, real conversations, and supporting the people around us.

This haircut happened while the Herald and News was interviewing JT at the shop.
DJ knew the general look he wanted, but the consultation helped us dial in the details: skin on the sides, texture up front and a beard shape that would elongate his face.
The fade came out clean—but I think the beard brought the entire look together. What do you think made the bigger difference?
