Viv & Maggie
Modern, small-batch self-care for women who embody strength in softness.

For so many years, I treated rest like a reward.
Something I had to earn.
After the work was done.
After the house was clean.
After everyone else was taken care of.
The problem?
The list never ended.
There was always one more thing to do.
One more responsibility.
One more reason to keep pushing.
So I kept going.
And going.
And going.
Until my body started asking for what my mind refused to give it.
Rest.
Not because I earned it.
Because I needed it.
Because I am human.
If you're tired today, this is your reminder:
You don't have to justify your need for rest.
You don't have to earn softness.
You don't have to prove your worth through exhaustion.
Sometimes choosing yourself looks like closing the laptop.
Taking the nap.
Leaving the dishes.
Saying "not today."
And trusting that the world will keep spinning.
🤍
What does rest look like for you right now?
Back to brainstorming and creating blends that are more aligned

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to make ourselves smaller.
To stay quiet.
To not ask for too much.
To be easy.
To not inconvenience anyone.
We learned to apologize for our needs.
"I'm sorry."
For needing rest.
For setting boundaries.
For changing our minds.
For taking time for ourselves.
For wanting more.
But what if you stopped apologizing?
What if you trusted that your needs are valid?
What if you took up the space you were always meant to occupy?
Not loudly.
Not selfishly.
Just honestly.
You don't need permission to rest.
You don't need permission to heal.
You don't need permission to choose yourself.
You already belong here.
🤍
Tell me:
What is something you're no longer apologizing for?
Building Viv & Maggie is a dream of mine.
Step by step.
Trial by trial.
Product by product.
Every batch teaches me something new, and every little milestone reminds me why I started.
Thank you for being here. I hope you’ll walk beside me on this journey. 🤍

Sometimes choosing yourself doesn't feel empowering.
Sometimes it feels uncomfortable.
Sometimes it feels like guilt.
Like selfishness.
Like you're letting someone down.
Not because you're doing something wrong.
But because you've spent years putting everyone else's needs ahead of your own.
When you're used to being the helper, the fixer, the strong one, choosing yourself can feel unfamiliar.
But unfamiliar doesn't mean wrong.
It might look like:
✨ Saying no without explaining.
✨ Resting without earning it.
✨ Leaving space in your schedule.
✨ Buying yourself the flowers.
✨ Taking care of your mind, body, and heart.
You don't have to disappear to prove your love for others.
You deserve care too.
Maybe today, choosing yourself is simply believing that.
🤍
What is one way you're choosing yourself this week?

My biggest fear isn’t being alone.
It’s investing my heart in someone who slowly makes me question myself.
It’s missing the red flags.
It’s finding myself back in a situation I worked so hard to escape.
But healing has taught me something:
I trust myself now in ways I never did before.
I know the signs.
I know my worth.
And I know that love should never require me to abandon myself to keep it.
That doesn’t make the fear disappear.
It just means the fear doesn’t get to drive anymore. 🤍

✨ Choosing Yourself Isn't Selfish ✨
For a long time, I thought choosing myself meant I was letting someone else down.
I said yes when I wanted to say no.
I pushed through exhaustion.
I ignored what I needed because everyone else seemed to need something too.
Choosing yourself isn't about becoming selfish.
It's about remembering that you matter too.
It's:
🤍 Resting before you're completely depleted.
🤍 Setting boundaries without guilt.
🤍 Speaking kindly to yourself.
🤍 Making time for things that bring you peace.
🤍 Trusting that your needs are worthy of being met.
The truth is, the more cared for you are, the more of yourself you have to give.
You don't have to earn rest.
You don't have to earn softness.
You don't have to earn care.
Choose yourself today.
Even in one small way.
✨ What is one thing you're choosing for yourself this week?

You do not have to earn rest.
You do not have to earn kindness.
You do not have to earn softness.
Those things belong to you already.
🤍
Save this for the days you need it.

A calm nervous system isn't built in the hustle.
It's built in small moments of safety, rest, and self-compassion. Healing doesn't always look like doing more. Sometimes it looks like slowing down long enough to hear what your body has been asking for all along. 🤍
