Thankful for a fully booked day on the anniversary of the day I stepped out in faith and went back to school at 30.

I was grieving my Mom, newly married, living in a new state, and completely unsure of what was next. I had graduated college, failed out of nursing school by half a point because my heart wasn’t in it, and was working as a MAC Artist when I realized I wanted to take my passion further.

So I dreamed up Wildwood Esthetics and a few years later, made that dream a reality.

Since then, I’ve become an esthetician, a permanent makeup artist, gotten licensed in three states, owned a thriving small business, and helped hundreds of people feel confident in their own skin.

I’ve also started over in three different states, survived heartbreak, failures, closed doors, a house nightmare that STILL isn’t over, and some of the darkest moments of my life. December 2024 nearly broke me. Instead, it became the moment I finally chose myself.

Now at 37, I’m starting over again. Eight months into this chapter, I’m building my books, working a second job, and reminding myself that I’ve done hard things before.

I’ve never been able to quit. My Dad taught me to fall down, dust myself off, and try again.

Seven years later, I can finally say it:

I am tenacity.

I actually did everything I set my mind to.

And I’m damn proud of myself.

Looking through these photos in order makes me cry the happiest tears, because you can literally see the light coming back into my eyes. And honestly, that is everything.
