Salon Yeager, a Knoxville TN hair salon, was founded in 2015 by Jenn and Chris Yeager. After over a decade in the salon industry, the two fulfilled their dream of opening their own hair salon together in Knoxville. There are no limits to what our stylists can do with your hair, including balayage, color/highlights, Ouidad for curly hair, and even formal hair styling. Trends are always coming and going, and our goal at Salon Yeager is to meet your specific needs at any given moment.

Thinking about going back to your natural-or darker-hair color after being lightened? There’s a little more to it than simply putting a dark color over blonde hair! 🤎
Andi breaks down why we pre-color lightened hair with warm tones first. When hair has been lightened, some of its natural underlying pigment has been removed. We need to replace that missing warmth before adding your desired darker shade so the color can look rich, balanced, and natural.
And the good news? Pre-coloring and going darker isn’t damaging to your hair. 🙌
But here’s where things can get tricky: if you go light → dark → light again, we’re asking your hair to go through multiple chemical processes. That can create a challenge for the integrity of the hair and may affect how safely we can achieve your next lighter look.
