US Miss- Teen Miss

Florida side quest: find the blessing boxes. 🤍✨

While we were in Florida, we decided to load up on food and set out on a little mission to find some local blessing boxes to fill. We figured it would be simple… find the boxes, fill them up, and be on our way.

Well, apparently God had a slightly different itinerary for us.

The first box? Nowhere to be found. We drove all around the area looking for it with absolutely no luck. So we found another location and headed there instead, and thankfully, this one actually existed! It was a little smaller than we anticipated, but we packed every inch we could.

We still had some stuff left over, so, naturally, the hunt continued. We headed toward another blessing box…and once again, there was no box where it was supposed to be. At this point we had driven all over, and weren’t quite sure where to go, it was also getting late and we had to be heading home.

And then came one of those little reminders that God’s timing is always perfect. ✨

While we were stopped for gas, a man pulled in and started talking to my mama. During their conversation, he told her about his church and invited her to come visit. On a whim, Mama asked if he happened to know of any blessing boxes nearby.

Turns out, his church had one. 🤍

When she explained why we were asking and told him about all the food we still had, he said he would gladly take it to their church and make sure it got where it needed to go.

We spent all that time searching for somewhere to leave those donations, only for the right person to quite literally pull up beside us. 🥹

Sometimes things don’t go according to our plan because they’re already working according to His.

Just another reminder that there’s always an opportunity to leave somewhere a little better than you found it.

One of my favorite parts of this journey is finding simple ways to make a difference wherever I go.

While I was in Charleston, I met up with my US Miss Queen Yamani, and we decided to spend part of our day giving back. We stopped by Krispy Kreme, picked up a few dozen donuts, and surprised some of the local first responders with a sweet treat to thank them for everything they do.

Acts of service don’t have to be grand to make an impact. Sometimes, the smallest gestures. A smile, a thank you, or a box of donuts, can brighten someone’s entire day.

I truly can’t believe it’s been a year since I was crowned your 2025 US Miss Teen. If you were to tell me a year ago I would have won my first national title after only competing in pageantry for a short amount of time, I wouldn’t believe you. This opportunity has been nothing short but a blessing. I’ve had many firsts this year and this title has been with me along the way. I am so beyond grateful to have gained another family and the women on this court are truly inspiring. I can’t wait to keep in touch and see how everyone is doing in the years to come. Thank you to Mrs. Melissa and everything you have done for me and this group of girls. You worked so hard to make sure we have everything we always needed and always kept on us our toes. To my mom and dad, thank you for being my supporters during this entire journey and never giving up on me. Finally, to my friends and family, I wouldn’t be where I am without anyone. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to help with the Starz N Glitz pageant hosted by Amanda Carter! This was my first time ever going to a Glitz pageant and it was such a fun event! I got to help contestants line up before they go on stage and give them words of encouragement. This was also such a full circle moment as I grew up dancing at No Limits which is Mrs. Amanda’s studio. It was so great to rekindle the memories with everyone as well as be able to meet new friends!
