Life is hard!!!

God knows how many times i have wanted to give up. Give up on my family, give up on my career and my passion. Just because I just didn't think I could do it.

💁🏼‍♀️Fun fact i wanted to quit doing hair my first day on the job! I cried and cried for the entire first week of doing hair! I was super scared! The only support I had was my mother who had zero idea how to do hair. I remember her telling me i can't quit everything that is hard and new..

I always wanted to quit things when it got hard. I just flat out thought i am not good enough I can't do this. Which is one of the reasons I went to college. I didn't think I would be able to make hair a career. Hell, i didn't even think i was going to graduate college. Low 🔑 Key i cried when i graduated my bachelors & and masters. I just never thought I was capable of achieving anything. But i kept going.

I followed this path and with every obstacle i wanted to run away and quit but i learned along the way that all i needed was a shift in mindset.

I have been trying to train my mind to see the positive, to find a solution to the negative to spread optimism & to not give up.

If you are reading this and you think@you can't do it or that you arnt good enough I am here to tell you to just do it ✔️.

Id thought I'd re introduce myself. I have been doing hair since 2004!

I didn't know what i wanted to be when i grew up so i tried all my interests except being a veterinarian.. 🐶🐈

I have a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in photography and a minor in Business Administration and a Masters of Education with a certification in Early Childhood Education-6th grade.

I own since 2015 and i have 3 kiddos!

My oldest is 14 and is my step son who we have full custody of. I have been in his life since he was 3... so he's mine 😈

I also have a beautiful 5 year old little girl and a 19 month old little boy.

So i am bussssy.

But i am very compassionate about what i do and my goal is to combine all of my degrees and using them within my business. ✌️

I like to think I have always been great at controlling my emotions 😳But, yea, no... 😂😂 i struggle all the time with it.

Thanks to my good ol friend, anxiety, my thoughts are all over the place and I tend to exaggerate and over think situations. But it is important to take a break and step back. Reassure yourself and take control over yourself and your actions. You are the only one in control of yourself and you can't blame anyone else but you! So don't let some external factor control you. Take control of yourself and be awesome doing it 😊

Ugh!!! 😩😩😩

There are so many times where i get so frustrated at the pace in which i am moving . Especially when it comes to my business. I often feel like it takes me so long to make decisions, but i try to remind myself about that stupid but true quote about how "Rome wasn't built in a day" 😖

Success doesn't happen over night, but taking baby steps to ensure that things are going to be exactly how you want it is worth the wait. No matter how frustrating it is, the slow steps will end up creating something that will last.

Slow and steady wins the race.

I have to constantly remind myself of this on a constant basis!

I second guess myself ALL the TIME! So I often put off making a decision. I am so scared to make the wrong one! But that in it self is a decision. I am choosing to be scared, or choosing to put off making the decision.

We have to make mistakes to be able to learn. So go ahead and make that decision and if it doesn't turn out the way you wanted then,well, make another decision to fix it.

Don't get stuck in limbo! Make a choice, and commit!
