I booked the buccal massage because I had heard it could help relieve tension and pain in the jaw and temples. I am a clencher and get migraines frequently, so I thought I'd give this a try.

It was a very relaxing massage 💆‍♀️

My face felt amazing. I could specifically feel my jaw tension slowly releasing and I didn't even know that it was tense. Afterwards, my whole face just felt totally relaxed.

Tongue 👅 Release!!

Today, I was listening to what my body needed and the tongue release technique came to mind as I learned in Level 2 of my Buccal Training. I started with lymphatic drainage and then gently did the tongue 👅 release on myself.

***again, PLEASE do not just start pulling on your tongue. I have been trained .***

This is a pretty intense move and I do just do on every Buccal client. It is a very effective release, especially, when you see all the muscles attached to and around that affect the tongue, fascia, and whole area around it.

This can help with freeing up your mouth, throat, and jaw areas to help you speak, sing, and swallow more effectively. It can reduce stress and help with overall facial relaxation.

Thought I would share as I am doing my own Buccal practice on myself while on vacation!
