Good morning!
Woke up feeling good, and just wanted to share.

When you put on the weight and develop bad habits, it effects everything. Your sleep, your breathing, your activity, your DRIVE.....everything...

I was waking up, not feeling rested. I would slowly throw my legs over the side of the bed and coax the rest of my body to follow. I would slowly shuffle to my coffee pot, and I would hope that the coffee would help me kick start the engine. Eventually it would.

Through the day I would push on. Get through it. Then one day I noticed my clothes getting tighter. I got on the scale.....
Not good.
So I decided that I had gotten sloppy, and got back on my health plan.
In two weeks I lost 19lbs so far. The program order is a month worth of food, so I have time for more improvement.
And that first two weeks is hard. But now that I'm 2.5 weeks, the energy is starting to hit. My body got rid of the bad "fuel" that I was running on, and now that the good fuel is there, I just can't believe the difference.
Now I wake up, do a 20 minute work out. Try to get my push up numbers back up again. And then head for my coffee.
Change what you put in your body, change your habits.....and change your life.

Sorry, didn't get a video this morning. Was running behind for work.

Down another 8lbs this week!

I love the simplicity.
I love the effectiveness.
I love the "bang" for my buck.

I lost my way, but I wasn't concerned because I knew I could easily regain my foothold with this awesome health program.

Sorry it's been so long, but i've been working.....

Working on continuing to improve my life.
Working on not letting age rule who I am.

Good day everyone! I hope you are all doing well, and surviving the winter months.

Just wanted to throw you an update.

Yesterday was monumental! I didn't get to post, because I was scrambling to get kids picked up from school, and get to work on time. But something happened yesterday that I was gunning for....

Remember, last year at this time I couldn't even do FIVE push ups. Back in November, I started the 22 a day challenge with some friends getting involved as well. At that point, 22 was a struggle, but got easier as we went through the month.

I'm still doing push ups every day. Eventually it was 30. Then 35. And so on.

Yesterday my youngest son, Jaxon, was hanging out with me before I went to work. I told him I had to do my pushups, and asked if he would help me count. He is always very willing to help. So I asked him, "what should I try to do? 30? 35? 40!?"
He says, "why not just do 50, dad?"
"Well, because I've never been able to do it. But you know what? I'll try to get as close as I can."

Well, for the first time in my life, I knocked out 50 push ups straight. My 5 year old is witness!

And let's not forget, one big goal for this summer is to do pull ups. Working on that as we speak. Stay tuned!

Good day all! Just wanted to pop in with an update.
Still maintaining! I bounce between 205 and 210 depending on the day. I weigh every day to gauge, and to see how various things effect my body. It's pretty crazy! If you are doing any sort of weight loss, heed these words.....ONLY WEIGH ONCE A WEEK! You'll save yourself some strife.

This time last year, I wasn't even able to do 5 pushups. November 2021, I got on board with the 22 a day challenge. I recorded each day for my own accountability and finding support from you guys, and some even jumping on board with me! I was able to hit 22 a day each day, and I have since continued on. I pushed to 25 a day each day. And here lately, i've been doing 30 a day, each day. It's pretty surreal to me.

My biggest goal for 2022 is pull ups. I've never been able to even do one. Not ever. So now my training regiment has me geared towards that. My shoulders are a wreck, but with the proper care and strength training on those areas, I hope to get through it without injury! lol

As always, thank you for following along everyone. I'm still kicking, and still holding strong! I'm loving the smaller size clothes. I'm loving being able to steal my 15 year old's clothes. And I just love the overall feeling. I've never been truly happy with ME, until last year. And I'm still, to this day, trying to adjust.
It's pretty darn cool.
