We're proud to spotlight Dr. Samannaaz Khoja, who serves as Chair of the Small Grants Program Workgroup on the APTA Orthopedics Research Committee.

Dr. Khoja and her workgroup oversee the entire APTA Orthopedics Small Grants Program — including updating the Request for Applications to align with current research priorities, managing the grant submission portal, coordinating the scientific review process, and handling post-award responsibilities like progress reporting and budget monitoring.

It takes a tremendous amount of work to support researchers behind the scenes, and Dr. Khoja does it with dedication and collegiality. We're so thankful for her service to APTA Orthopedics and the physical therapy community!
