Smooth Aesthetics is officially 3 years old 🤍

Opening my own business is something I knew I was going to do for a long time. I believed in myself even when I knew there were people around me who didn’t. I’ve always been a hard worker, I’ve always been ambitious, and once I get something in my head that I want to do… I’m probably going to do it

The last three years have taught me A LOT. I’ve grown as an aesthetician, a business owner and honestly just as a person. There’s a lot that comes with doing all of this on your own, but being able to look around my studio and know that I created something that is completely mine is pretty freakin cool.

And if you know my business, you pretty much know me

That was actually really important to me when I created Smooth. I wanted my space and my business to feel like me. The pink, the music, the random conversations, probably changing the subject 12 times because ADHD 😂, laughing, oversharing, and somehow remembering something you told me at your appointment six months ago. I wanted people to feel comfortable walking through my door and feel like they could just be themselves.

And I think I’ve done a pretty good job of creating that. 🤍

I’m so grateful for every person who has chosen me for a service over the last three years. And even if you’ve never been a client but you’ve shared one of my posts, recommended me to a friend, tagged me or supported my business in any way, you’ve played a part in helping Smooth grow.

Three years in and I still have so many things I want to do, learn and accomplish.

I’m just really proud of how far this little business has come. 🥹

There’s a little more to getting the best results than just showing up for your appointment 👀 Staying consistent with your wax schedule AND taking care of your skin at home really does make a difference.

And a couple reminders while we’re here: yes, you can get waxed on your period 🩸 and no, you never need to feel embarrassed walking into my room.

Hair is normal. Bodies are normal. Ingrowns happen. Skin has texture. This is and always will be a judgment-free space for everyBODY. 🤍
