This is 'Blood Rain' by Sassy Pants Polish. This is the June 2019 Polish Pickup shade by Sassy Pants. Since I wasn't in the indie nail polish world in 2019 quite yet I know I picked this up in a destash or as part of a prize but I can't quite recall how it came into my collection.
Blood Rain is described as a red to copper multichrome magnetic polish with holographic red flakies and UCC flakes. I'm so glad I found this description because this one is hard to pin down. I thought the base was more of a grapey wine color that shifts to copper. I thought the red bits were glitters, not flakes.
I think this polish is really pretty. I magnetized in the cat-eye style on my index and pinky finger, velvetized on my middle and ring finger. I think the magnetic pigment gave a lovely line in the cat-eye style, and the other components gave a lot of beauty and interest in the background.
This polish is definitely giving me some holiday vibes!
