So incredibly inspired by the work that The Motherhood Collective is doing to support mamas - and honored to join them in this journey!
World Maternal Mental Health Day!🩷
We are so happy to see the importance of Mom’s mental health being highlighted today. One in five women will experience a PMAD (perinatal mood & anxiety disorder). PMADs are the most common complication of pregnancy. But there is help, support, & resources available in our community!
The mission of The Motherhood Collective is to support women holistically (body, mind, & spirit) as they move through the immensity of the parenthood transition.
We offer thoughtful & intentional yoga classes that support the body & mind, educational classes to help prepare you for parenthood, (free!) support groups, relaxing meditation + reiki sessions & community events that support the needs of mothers mental & physical health today & every day.
Every mother is deserving of support. We hope you’ll join The Motherhood Collective village.❤️

The recent formula recall has created a crisis and unfortunately for some an opportunity to shame parents for how they chose to feed their babies. Maple Tree Wellness stands behind every parent and the many choices available to nourish our babies. If you are struggling with complicated feelings related to how you feed your baby - or if you just need help finding resources or avenues for safe and affordable formula - please reach out. Help is available.
Right now, there's a big formula recall and supply chain issues leading to a lack of access to replacement formulas here in Wisconsin.
We understand the emotional and financial pressure of this on those of us who formula feed.
We are here to support you, any way you feed your child. Our helpline is here for you. Don't hesitate to reach out to us!

Maple Tree Wellness is absolutely thrilled to partner with The Motherhood Collective in facilitating the new Motherhood United: Support Group.
Motherhood United: Support Group is a safe haven to nurture new moms as they enter the magical, mysterious and often challenging time of motherhood. Together we will consciously celebrate the transitions new moms face while learning and sharing within a community. Our group is a space for parents identifying as mothers where you can share your experiences and concerns, ask questions, and form community with other moms. Prenatal/ postpartum yoga teacher Emily Sustar and perinatal mental health therapist Lauren Gourley will facilitate each 75 minute group focusing on the profound transition into motherhood.

Anxiety right now is pretty hard to avoid. But we can do anxiety better. Maple Tree Wellness can help. Be in touch.
✔️Accept and expect anxiety to present itself, to get better or worse, and to return.
✔️Breathe better. Through your nose. Slowly. Mindfully. Pay attention. Count. Expand belly. Practice throughout the day.
✔️Practice self-compassion. Really. Anxiety is widespread right now. If you find you are anxious much of the time, it’s okay. You can learn skills to help you manage it when it feels especially acute.
✔️Distract your brain.
✔️Don’t beat yourself up. Being hard on yourself will stall any progress you are making.
✔️Find professional support if distress is high and pervasive.
