Hi, As the owner of Horizons Bodyworks I'd like to share the story of how it all began...

I remember receiving my first form of bodywork when I was 20 years old at a festival where this incredible woman was giving Shiatsu massages. The amount of calm and the comfort I felt inside of my body after the 15 minute session completely blew me away. I took her card and contacted her after some intense work shifts that left me feeling completely drained and quite literally feeling sick. This next 1 hour bodywork session; I went on an unforgettable visual journey deep into a jungle. After the hour, I left feeling completely restored and knowing that this would now be an essential part of my self-care practice.
Needless to say, it opened a door for me into a whole new world.
I started massage school shortly after, and began studying various types of holistic health methods, went to 100’s of yoga classes, and learned different methods of healing from various cultures, and to this day I continue to educate myself in the health and wellness field.

I believe that in the right environment and with the right support, the human body can access the innate ability and wisdom to heal, recover, thrive, and to live in balance and harmony with the world.
