Progress pic~ Simply 4 weeks of using a routine suited for your particular skin sitch can change so much. Commitment to the process is key, along with making the necessary lifestyle shifts to bring about those changes. Amelia's skin went through a huge transformation before we started working together, leaving mostly scarring, some noninflammatory acne and some deep inflammatory lesions around the jawline for us to tackle. In those 4 weeks and 2 treatments (1 galvanic last month, 1 microcurrent this week) most of the deeper lesions have subsided and scarring has minimized greatly, with the use of proper wound healing goodies. Microcurrent is my fav for PIE as it reduces some cytokine signaling involved in acne formation and collagen destruction, allowing skin to repair itself. 🪐💫

My hot take on the age of Aquarius:

As an Aquarius rising, the lens from which I see the world has greatly been through the Aquarius and Leo axis. My 7th house is in Leo and all of my notable relationships have been with either other Aquas or Leo risings. All of that to say, I'm familiar with this energy and it's shadow, too.

There is a process of necessary individualization that we must face as we shift into this collective energy. As we become more ourselves, we are more capable of serving the world through the things that make us unique.

It is said Jesus was born during a Jupiter and Saturn conjunction. Something we should notice is the rise of false prophets. A main element in dealing with this axis is the ego associated with both signs. Leo is infamously known for being self centered and self indulgent. The Aquarius ego gets off from being different and standing apart from the crowd.

Ego in the spiritual community is huge! There is a giant rise in people calling themselves healers and claiming to receive messages from spirit. Pick a card channels on YouTube are extremely popular, there's constant ads on my time line for trainings commercializing ancient indigenous practices (that are free to learn). Spirituality is becoming mainstream and that's amazing. But that also comes with the commercialization of it. The rise in attending ayahuasca retreats is becoming uncomfortable to see since it's mostly white influencers that have the money and privilege of being able to do these things that were once considered sacred. I'm not judging anyone and if someone wants to say they hung out with Jesus on a trip and have come back to spread information on star seeds as we ascend, go off sis. What I will say is that discernment is incredibly important and necessary as we progress into a society where these things become more normal. Listen to your own intuition and don't take anyone's word for anything. You too can tap into the infinite wisdom available, you don't even need psychedelics to do it. Awakening is probably one of the most human things we can do. It's an incredibly profound and wonderful experience for sure. But you don't need to buy special crystals, you don't need to put pressure on yourself, you just need to be open and set intentions to evolve. You are always right where you need to be.

That being said, another huge factor in this axis is the heart. If you've ever been loved by an Aquarius or Leo you know how special it is. And the heart is the main component in connecting with the energy of god, love.
I'm super excited for all of the changes that are to come and want to remind anyone reading this that intuitive gifts and development go hand in hand with shadow work. As we heal our soul wounds we raise our individual frequencies and thus aid in raising the collectives frequencies.

A new earth and utopia do sound like pipe dreams and there is a lot of fear being spewed from the government and other outlets. It's spiritual warfare but we can and will see the changes for a better world. It's just gonna take time and dismantling of archaic systems. That's why we're here, to burn the s**t that doesn't serve humanity to the ground. Stay grounded and remember that the things we consider normal like the two party system, 40 hr work weeks, privatized health insurance, and rigged tax bills are all just made up anyway, so a better world is definitely possible. We need to bring the power back to the people.

I feel like there’s just a romanticism in acknowledging that death is what gives everything meaning.

Time eventually erases even the most tender of emotions. Would I even remember how it felt, having felt it? 

It’s not that time with one person erases it from others—but this is what gives love its meaning. Life will dissolve into death and make nonsense of what was once so important.

A key repeating lesson I have in my life is how I allow myself to receive and accept love, which ties into my self worth.
Relationships have expectations, inherently.
They are a give and take and we're all just working our own s**t out in them, hoping that the other person can hold and reassure you while you go through your own lessons. The last few months have been difficult for me as I've moved past the end of a relationship with someone I thought could finally see me for me. While it didn't work, I learned so much about myself and what I need in love. There is no such thing as wasted time in relationships. My shadow loves to echo to me that I'm too much, too emotional, too clingy and so on. That's the trauma talking. Some days those thoughts win. When I do my evening ritual meditation and get into the vibration of love these thoughts always melt away and remind me that I am love and deserving of it. The best way to prove it is to show love to myself.

Some affirmations that came in while meditating last night:

❖ I am divine by nature.
❖ I am here to spread love and be loved.
❖ I chose to love myself first and as I do I set the standard for what I deserve and allow.
❖ I love my body for it holds my soul and is the vehicle for my experience in this incarnation.
❖ I spread love and release expectations.
❖ I forgive because I know we're all just trying our best.
❖ I am love.
❖ I believe in love.

This year has been a weird combination of bliss and despair. I'm so thankful for everything I've learned and everything I allow myself to release as I move forward to build the existence that I am meant to.

Have you ever sat with fear long enough to listen to what it's telling you? My fears are more often than not rooted in my worth, one of the biggest lessons I'm learning in this life. When I'm in an anxious spiral it gets easy to dismiss the root by focusing on the constant stream of thoughts coming in but ultimately they are all saying the same thing. Meditation and reflection has taught me to listen to the message and provide myself the opportunity to be an emotional alchemist. When we listen to our fears, we can dispute them because we know our truth.

It's also helpful in showing me where I'm at in my journey. I'm not a fan of dismissing our complexities under the guise of love and light. Our fears and insecurities need to be heard to be transformed. What are you afraid of? What's that really telling you?

This was achieved with just 8 weeks of a consistent regimen and a few tweaks in lifestyle choices. There's a lot of frustration when it comes to dealing with acne and skin conditions that just don't seem to get better.

My approach has always been to look at how skin is presenting as a piece, just one part of the equation.

Dealing with acne doesn't have to be a roundabout cycle of getting clear with aggressive products just to breakout again.
