Welcome to Adler Salon.

Picking a salon name should be easy, right?

Wrong.

I made lists. I deleted lists. I made more lists. I annoyed Jim. I annoyed myself. I probably annoyed Granny Janny too. 😂

The funny thing is every time I thought I had a different name picked out, I somehow ended up right back at Adler.

If you follow the trail, it honestly looks like one of those conspiracy boards with red string connecting everything.

It starts with Granny Janny and Gramp George.

Then somehow branches into Sherlock Holmes.

Then Irene Adler.

Then eagles.

Then me seeing eagles absolutely everywhere and taking it as my sign that maybe I should stop fighting the name.

The more I pulled on the thread, the more everything kept leading back to the same place.

And once I started digging into what eagles represent, it just fit.

Vision.

Strength.

Freedom.

Trusting yourself enough to take the leap before you can see exactly where it’s going.

The last few years of my life have taught me a lot of things, but that one might be the biggest.

So after months of overthinking it, changing my mind approximately 6,742 times, and being relentlessly stalked by eagles…

Y’all have been keeping me BUSY behind the chair, but I couldn’t leave my Jennibugbutt off the feed.

We’ve been in our plum era for a while now and somehow still find a way to make it feel different every appointment.

More red.
More purple.
Darker.
Brighter.

This visit was all about refreshing her hair + her custom colored extensions and bringing some life back into one of my favorite color combinations 💜
