As we begin the process for an anticipated June 1 opening, listed below is the new state/salon requirements and protocol. If you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to ask your stylist. We want you all to feel as comfortable as possible. And of course, feel fabulous when leaving your appointment!
One thing about working in the beauty industry...not even an army could stop women from getting their hair done.
With that being said, we are still continuing to sanitize all of our tools and salon as usual, but have added extra sanitation sweeps throughout the day. We also have hand sanitizer throughout the salon and encourage all guests to feel free to use it.
We love seeing you all, but if you are sick or feeling sick, please contact your stylist to talk about rescheduling. We have so many clients in and out of the salon and you can be in close proximity to one another...you never know if the person you are sitting next to has a compromised immune system.
Wash your hands, don’t touch your face, cover your coughs and sneezes, stay home if you are sick and we all should make it out of this ok. 🙃

Our annual adopt a child/organization has begun! This year we have adopted 2 kids and one organization, SafePlace. You can take a tag off of our giving tree or choose from the lists below. As always, thank you for your generous donations, we’re always so blown away at the amount of support we get from our clients. All items are due back in the salon, unwrapped, by December 20. (At this time all items must be new) 🌲❤️🌲
Age: 10 years-old
He is a typically developing, active 10-year old boy who is kind, loving, and silly. He is generally a happy kid and loves to play with his brother or friends. He enjoys playing outside, playing with LEGOS, playing with cars/trucks, and playing video games. He loves to tinker and build things using his imagination. At school, he enjoys math and reading and would like books by Barbara Park (he already has the Partners in Crime series). He also enjoys playing board games and putting together puzzles. He would also really like to own the new Lion King movie.
He wears boys sizes in 12 shirt, XL 14/16 pants and pajamas, size 6 shoes and likes short socks.
His favorite colors are orange, red, and black!

Expect it to take a few sessions...and depending on your hair type or previous color...it may take a few more.

But how can Kim K walk in dark and walk out platinum? 🧐Celebrities will usually spend 10-12 hours in the salon and still leave with extensions or damaged hair after paying thousands of dollars, and we just don’t feel that’s realistic for most of us. Our goal is to keep the integrity of your hair while still having you leave happy at every appointment. 😁

💡💡What is a root smudge?? 💡💡

Have you ever had a foil or balayage and noticed hard lines around your face or your part area? Yeah, we don’t like it either.😩 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A root smudge essentially blurs the lines between your natural color and the applied color.🎨We apply a gloss to your roots at the shampoo bowl after a foil or balay....sometimes darker sometimes more translucent depending on the desired goal and 💥VOILA💥you are left with an instant seamless blend. Why choose a root smudge over a base bump?👇🏽
A base bump, or breaking the base, uses a permanent color to lift the natural hair color a shade or two to blend better with the foils. The problem? You can end up too warm on the scalp creating a warm glow effect. A root smudge will blend your foil/balay without lifting any of your natural color. 🤭🙌🏽
