I can personally attest that it is an immense daily struggle to act in a complete selfless manner. To expect absolutely zero in return, not even a Thank You from our brothers and sisters with whom we give. Worse yet, to be willing to be laughed at and mocked while still giving with a loving heart.

That is the example of self-sacrifice that Christ left with us when He died on the cross. When He instructs us to "Follow Him", that is what we are instructed to do.

Our grace and glory come from Him alone. And to Him goes ALL the glory.

Psalm 84:11
