Hey hair fans, friends and family, sorry took so long for a new update.. Scott is home. Doing ok but been a bit of an adjustment and some struggles. I am booking appointments again! I've tried to call everyone back and respond to all the messages! Thank you all for the prayers and understanding as it has been rough and still have a long road to go but things are going. Please if I missed a call back or message please message me again. I appreciate you all so much!! Thank you all so much!!

UPDATE: So the angiogram went well a small amount of blockage but nothing that needed stints or surgery or that would have caused the heart failure. Then he was having issues with his kidneys. He is srable and hopefully if his numbers look better today he will be discharged. They are hoping by keeping his blood sugar and blood pressure down the heart will get stronger and heal. If the heart failure doesn't get better in a couple months they will talk about doing a defibrillator. It is now on the 9th day of this hell and hoping for some light at the end of the tunnel. He has been admitted for 7 days now. I stayed the weekend with him but have drove back and forth everyday due to kids and animals but needed to be here for the tests and talking to the drs. Im hoping if all goes well I will be back to work like normal on Monday. I will be calling the clients I had to cancel on to reschedule then calling everyone that has called or messaged to schedule. Thank you all for your understanding and patience. This has been alot... I'm tired and exhausted and just want things to get better soon!! Keep the prayers coming for his healing as he has a long road still in recovery. He still has heart failure but we are hopeful it will get better. Heart is only pumping 25%... but hopefully if kidneys cooperate he will get to break out today... we shall see... this hour and 20 min drive every day is rough lol idk how ppl can do it when they work so far away!! UPDATE
They didn't do the angiogram yesterday because he was having an issue but hopefully they will do that today. They did an EEG yesterday to check his brain but haven't heard anything yet. He seems to be doing better this morning tho.

So... medical emergency recap from the week/end.... Scott was admitted into the hospital FINALLY friday night after having issues that seems to have started from a new med he had been taking.. went to 2 different ERs 1 this week Wednesday in ricelake and one last week friday in Ladysmith. Went to his primary this friday and she was thinking to call the ambulance which would have taken him to Ladysmith er and he refused to go there again so I drove him to mayo in eau claire. (So glad his sister and her husband were able to meet us there!) He was admitted due to extreme blood pressure, water retention, being in acute heart failure and a left bundle branch blockage. (I think that's what they called it, where the electrical current doesn't move across the heart right ) They have got his blood pressure down closer to stable and He hopefully will have an angiogram tomorrow, that's the plan anyway. They had put him on lasik due to a good amount of fluid retention and during testing today it showed his kidney function was down from yesterday. They took him off of the lasik hoping it would get the kidney function back up so they could continue with the plans for the angiogram tomorrow. If his kidney function is still down or worse they probably won't do it tomorrow due to the dyes in it affecting the kidneys. It's been a long week and not much sleep so bare with me jumping around. We have been at the hospital since 5 on friday (but been dealing with this progressing for weeks) and I had to leave tonight to get kids and bring them home and ready for school tomorrow.
AND THEEEEEEN ....
On the way home the alternator went out in the van leaving the littles and I stuck in grant town for a couple hours till we got a different battery to atleast get us home thanks to my daughter Keili and her boyfriend for the rescue!

After I get the kids on the bus tomorrow morning I will be heading back to the hospital. Hopefully tomorrow things look good and they can proceed with the angiogram and see if they can find anything that needs fixed internally or if the heart failure was from the extreme blood pressure he was experiencing. Hopefully after that I will know more about when I will be back at work..
Thank you for those that have reached out and I'm sorry if I didn't get back to everyone yet.. and thank you to the couple I reached out to that helped keep me grounded through this as most of you know this isnt my first rodeo of this kind and its like reliving the horror...I had some moments this weekend and I appreciate your love and support ❤️ keep us in your prayers we find out some answers and can correct this all and prayers for comfort and peace as we are all a little on edge and worried 😟 hope I relayed all the info correctly just wanted to let everyone know incase I missed some and to let you know why I haven't been at work.. Love to all and I hope to see you all very soon!!

The opening week of having my own salon has been AMAZING!!!! The amount of support has been so incredible!!! Thank you all for all the congratulatory gifts and cards it has really touched my heart!!! My dream has been in the works for so many years and for it to be an actual reality now.... I just dont have the words to express my gratitude for it all!!! The shop may not be perfect yet but it has been amazing to see it come together and become real!!!! Ugh I am just so thankful!!!! I am so very truly BLESSED!!! Thank you all for coming on this journey with me and supporting me!! I look forward to seeing those that I haven't seen there yet and am excited to see what the future holds!
