She's the half that makes us whole here at The Beauty Bar. She deserves all the wonderful things on her special day. She is my right-hand woman. Appreciation post. I don’t feel like I could ever give enough credit where it’s due for this one! She literally keeps the salon running behind the scenes. She is always there when I need her; she deals with my crazy ADHD, 50 side hustles, and my last-minute desperate calls for supply house runs. She has the biggest heart and she makes me laugh with her old soul personality. I know I drive her crazy, but she has been the biggest blessing over the last 5 years! She came in at a time when I needed her most , and she has weathered many life storms with me! She has never expected anything more from me, even though she deserves it. She will never know how much she truly means to me! I know it hasn’t always been easy working beside me every day, because I drive myself crazy! In the middle of an emotional breakdown yesterday, I ran to my back room because I don’t like to show emotion; she found me, and I felt so embarrassed. She hugged me while I cried, and she will never know how much I didn’t know I needed that! If you had told me the sweet little 16 year old who sat in my chair 13 years ago would be standing by my side and weathering lifes storms with me I wouldnt have believed you. It’s been a heavy week it’s just bad days not a bad life. Thank you to everyone who checked on me , prayed for me it meant more than you know!!

Look who’s back 🫶🏼🙌🏼✨🩷. She will be assisting and shadowing me until she is able to take her state boards. We are so thrilled to have her back!!! We have missed her so much!!!!

Can’t let the day pass without wishing this gorgeous gal the happiest of birthdays. She is as equally kind as she is beautiful. We are so lucky to have her! Loyalty is one of her many wonderful qualities which is incredibly rare these days ! I have not only got to watch her grow as a stylist but I have watched her grow through many stages of life since she was a young teenager! When a New Client turns into a 5 hour color correction .

Buckle up 🤪

Picture # 1 Client arrived just wanting to transition lighter for summer and a chop because it was unhealthy 😅

Me immediately realizing her hair was what I like to say fried died and laid to the side 😅😅. ( well she kinda knew also)

She had level 2/3 blue black underneath and throughout applied 8 weeks ago 😅😅😅😅😅.

The blonde pieces that were present had already broken off from the midshaft down so obviously bleaching was not an option 🙃. ( she was so kind and understanding ❤️🫶🏼)

So what we opted for is a lighter brown until we can get the hair healthy again … how could we possibly do that without bleach well …. Stay tuned

That brings us to picture Number 2 . We were able to lift level 2/3 permanent color to a level 6 warm red tone without bleach and absolutely no damage whatsoever ⬇️

never disappoints with a combination of Undoo Goo , Color Disruptor , CPR , and DDL it made picture number 2 possible .

Picture 3 . I went in with a level 6 npa+ by all over to neutralize all the red tones and when I say her hair had absolutely no damage I mean it!

We will work very hard over the next 4-6 months between salon visits and home regimens to get her hair healthy and on the right track again until then enjoy our little transformation from today 💕🫶🏼✨
