LONG POST ALERT:

For this season of my life I am choosing a better work/life balance. Many years I’ve spent countless hours beautifying so many clients and for that I am so very thankful. I’ve been blessed with a HUGE clientele and I’ve built relationships with everyone that has walked through my doors. God has been my supply source in the many, but since my surgery He has prompted me to trust Him with fewer. I have to trust that He will always be my supplier and all our needs will still be met. Sadly, I’ve put my job over my health, my family, and other relationship/responsibilities. If you have been on this journey with me I’m trying my best to put my health and family first more so now than ever before. With that being said I will be limiting my work hours. For years, I’ve told clients to get on a reoccurring schedule and so if u have not I suggest you reach out to me so we can try to do so or book in advance if you can. If you don’t see anything on my schedule you can always join a waitlist and if a client cancels the appointment app will notify you. Even if you are reoccurring or book in advance my schedule is always subject to change, especially now that I have 3 kids in 3 different schools. I try to plan out my book accordingly as I get dates or events, but as most of you know with kids things can come up quickly and so bear with me if you may have to be rearranged unexpectedly. I will always try to give a 24hr notice as I like the same common courtesy. With knowing they are super involved in many extra curricular activities, changes will be added/altered if needed. I missed many events due to work and not wanting to cancel, but I’m committed to not missing anymore if I can help it. In these years I want to make precious memories with them. Being home for the summer with my kids allowed so much one on one with each of them and I’m so very thankful for that. This summer/recovery flew by and so will the years with them if I don’t embrace every moment I can. I want to thank all my clients, friends, and family who have poured into my life during this time at any capacity you did. Nothing went unnoticed! My family and I are extremely grateful to each person as there are too many to name and I wouldn’t want to leave anyone out so sincerely, THANK YOU!!!! ONE LOVE, Miracles by Felicia Faye

I love how my clients are posting and tagging their hair since I been back at work. I think they missed me!!!

Tomorrow will be my first day back to work after being out for 3 weeks. Im ready!
But I will only be working for 9 weeks until I am out for 8 weeks. I’m excited to finally have the surgeries I’ve been waiting for years to have and finally able to make my health priority. I must say not working for 3 weeks has been good for my mental health but I miss doing what I love to do. I do plan on working extra until I go out again so if you can’t find an appointment get on my waitlist and I’ll be sure to try to get you in. Thanks for all my understanding clients, I appreciate and value your business. For everyone who called, texted, stopped by to check on me, supported my daughters fundraiser or the ones who paid me for appointments they would of normally had so I could have some income coming in while I was out, I cannot thank you enough! I’m so blessed!!!

Take it from me who just had to have bladder surgery due to my career of standing on my feet for 8-16hr days, gravity eventually takes over especially if you constantly holding yourself to finish up a client so u can go to the bathroom. Sit as much as possible, take bathroom breaks when you have the urge, have proper ventilation, and either take a lunch break or have fruits/veggies in a tumbler that u can easily snack on when you have a long day. 19 yrs behind a chair will catch up to you if you don’t follow wisdom.…
