I have been putting this post off for quite some time now. Tears fill my eyes with so many different emotions. The Lord is calling my family and I elsewhere. This summer, we are moving to Colorado.

My husband, .boone got a promotion & a wonderful opportunity in Denver. We have always loved Colorado & always dreamed of living here. God opened a door for us & we are proudly walking in.

I am so beyond grateful for every single person who has supported & loved me these last 4 years as a business owner. I have loved every single moment. You guys have made my dreams come true & then some. I love being a business owner. I love being a wife. I love being a mom. I love this life of mine. It's time I listen to my heart, step back from so much responsibility & focus on my family.

This has been one of the hardest but most rewarding decisions. It's been such a God thing and we truly are so blessed and overjoyed with this opportunity. Two things can exist!!!! Sadness for a chapter closing but happiness for a new one coming.

My last day in the suite will be May 15th and my last day in Lafayette is shortly after.

Hannah & I will be partnering with this business so don't worry, you will all be VERY well taken care of. More to come....stay tuned as we figure it all out.

I will be sharing part of my birth story in the future but wanted to pop in and update yall on some things!

First off, is killing it here while I’m gone! Nothing but positive feedback & extreme relaxation at the suite ♥️ she will be taking over until the beginning of January which means I’m still on leave! Please text her for any booking or in suite questions/ product pickup. You can text my business phone if you need me directly for a skincare emergency but other than that I am unplugging! Response times will vary as I am focusing on my family during leave.

I ended up having a C-section, which was great BUT my incision is not healing as quickly as expected & my recovery feels like it started over! Due to this, I might be taking a little more time off. This will be determined in December before rebooking in January! Stay tuned. Still trying to navigate & figure out what I want my new schedule to look like when I come back & working around daycare!

These first 3 weeks with baby boy have been nothing but joyful even with the challenges of the unknown every day! Thank you to everyone who has checked in on us. These messages do not go unnoticed! We will keep in touch✨

I’m officially on maternity leave! Here are some updates if you haven’t seen already.

- will be taking over at my suite until January! The best way to contact her will be through text message 337-315-1267. Any questions about product pickup, appointments, or anything else that needs to be taken care of in the suite will need to be sent to Hannah’s phone!

- Hannah will be working Mondays, Wednesday-Friday, and every other Saturday. Pre book if you have something special coming up!

- I will not be in office until January 7th. Any comments or concerns can still be sent to me via my business line, 337-385-0490, but response times may be a little slower as I focus on my family & recovery! I plan to check my business line once a day in the evening🙂

- All of my cancellation, late, and no show policy’s are still standing firm when Hannah transitions over.

- I will still be taking NEW acne client appointments virtually! Feel free to text my business line to schedule a consultation.

Lastly, thank you so much to every single client who has made working throughout my pregnancy an absolute joy! Thank you for the love, support, gifts, words of encouragement & more. I am beyond blessed to have each and every one of you in my corner. I cannot wait to see yall again in the new year💙🦋

Two weeks apart!
At her last appointment we worked on decongesting the skin & we tweaked her routine. Safe to say her skin responded beautifully.
We are 1 month into the clearing process and already seeing SO much progress. 🫶🏼

3 more days to get me into the top 3 again! Yall did amazing last year with all the love & support. Lets do it again 🩷

Beautiful makeup client for a anniversary business shoot💗

Recently I started thinking what is MY brand? What is MY goal with my business. How do I represent my business? Well, I don’t use heavy filters, makeup or edits. I keep my skin bare and for everyone to see, mostly. I have worked so hard to correct, improve, or enhance my clients skin throughout their time with me. I am constantly getting pictures sent to me from my clients and they are raving about their own skin. I’m seeing them in public with no makeup on when before we met that was unheard of for them. They are messaging me that they have been getting compliments left and right on their complexion. That’s when it all clicked. Unfiltered Skin & Co. (the Co. is obviously Sammy & Rocky🐾)

My goal is to make you confident in the skin you’re in. If that means you wear makeup because for the first time ever it sits beautifully on your skin, great! If you choose to wear no makeup and show your bare face, great! Whatever you do to showcase the work you have put in with your skin is great! I am just happy that I am a part of your journey & you are a part of mine.

This name change was huge for me. I will always love Dorothy Elizabeth Esthetics and the success that it’s brought me. It was just time for a change. To separate my name from my business and grow something that fits my long term goals.
