This is a perfect example of something we don’t talk about enough 👇

Pigmentation isn’t always caused by the sun — sometimes it’s triggered by treatments themselves.

After certain laser treatments, the skin can experience:
• Laser-induced melanocyte suppression (loss or disruption of pigment cells)
• Post-inflammatory melasma / hyperpigmentation (pigment overproduction from inflammation)
