From all of us at Frederick Hair Studio, we want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who came Friday to honor and celebrate Brian’s life.

The love, support, prayers, stories, flowers, messages, and kindness shown to us, Brian’s family, friends, and clients during this incredibly difficult time have meant more than words can express. Seeing so many people come together reminded us just how deeply Brian was loved and how many lives he touched throughout the years.

Writing this is one of the hardest things we have ever had to do because the loss of Brian is something we are still trying to process. He was more than the heart of this salon — he was family, a friend, a mentor, and a light to so many people. His presence is felt in every corner of the studio, and we know his spirit will continue to be with us here every single day.

While none of us could ever replace Brian, we want everyone to know that Frederick Hair Studio will continue moving forward just as he wanted. We will continue to keep the salon open, continue serving the clients he loved so much, and continue carrying on the warmth, laughter, care, and passion he poured into this place for so many years.

Thank you for continuing to support the studio, the staff, and one another during this time. Brian built more than a salon — he built a community and a family, and we are grateful to continue that legacy together.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Brian Frederick.

Brian was more than a hairstylist—he was a truly talented, unforgettable man whose impact reached far beyond the salon chair. Whether you knew him through hair, music, friendship, or family, you knew someone with a gift for connecting with people and making them feel seen.

For 37 years, Brian poured his passion, vision, and heart into Frederick Hair Studio. He mentored and trained many stylists who have gone on to build successful careers because of his guidance, encouragement, and belief in their potential.

Over the past few months, so many have asked how they could help. Brian’s words were simple:
“If you want to help me, continue to support Frederick Hair Studio. Everyone there is able and willing to take care of you.”

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we ask that you honor Brian’s legacy by continuing to support the salon he built and loved so deeply.

Thank you for the love, prayers, and support shown to Brian, his family, and all of us at Frederick Hair Studio during this difficult time.

A tremendous loss has been felt not only by us, but by the entire Lafayette community.
