Did you know? Testosterone is not just for men.

While men produce up to 15x more testosterone than women, women also produce and need testosterone.

In both men and women, testosterone is vital for bone and muscle strength, brain function, and energy levels.

Additionally, while testosterone is frequently overlooked in women, it has been shown to support:

- Bone density
- Mood and anxiety
- Sexual health

Often overlooked by estrogen and progesterone, testosterone can also impact hormone balance.

If you are feeling off and want to see what options might be a fit for you, give us a call or text at 765-237-9401 or click the link in our bio to schedule a consultation.

During perimenopause and menopause, estrogen declines cause changes in the tissues within the va**na and urinary tract.

These physical changes can cause irritation and more infections, ultimately creating a perfect environment for UTIs.

Vaginal estrogen helps restore the tissues in the va**na and urinary tract and helps with recurring UTIs.

Now it is being looked at as a prevention medication for serious outcomes from recurring UTIs.

If you suffer from recurring UTIs, let's talk about va**nal estrogen as a part of your treatment plan.

You’ve finally got a name for the “something” that’s been going on for a while, sometimes even months or years! Having a diagnosis can bring some sort of relief, but it can also leave you questioning "what's next?”

Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune condition where your immune system mistakenly targets your thyroid. Over time, this ongoing inflammation can damage the thyroid and reduce its ability to make enough thyroid hormone, often leading to hypothyroidism.

It’s a primary driver of hypothyroidism for women in their 30s-60s, and you may feel the effects long before your standard labs indicate a problem.

What’s really going on?

Your immune system produces antibodies (like TPO and thyroglobulin antibodies) that target thyroid tissue.

Other factors like gut dysfunction, chronic infections, stress, toxins, food sensitivities, and nutrient deficiencies may play a role in how the disease develops or progresses..

A Hashimoto’s diagnosis may feel like a lot. We are here to guide you through what's next.

Your thyroid might be small, but it plays a huge role in how you function and feel every day. When it is out of balance, your entire body can feel it.

The thyroid is a small, butterfly-shaped gland in the front of our necks.

It produces hormones that play a key role in regulating blood pressure, metabolism, body temp, heart rate, mood and brain function, and digestion.

The two main hormones it produces by the thyroid are triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4).

Many thyroid disorders require care by a health care professional. Two common disorders are hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) and hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid).

Let’s break down what these are.

Even though it’s summer, you still may not be getting enough vitamin D.

The body makes vitamin D from direct sunlight, but how much the body makes depends on many things including the color of your skin, what season it is, the time of day you’re in the sun, and if you’re using sunscreen (which is needed to prevent skin cancer).

Unfortunately, about 35% of adults in the U.S. have vitamin D deficiency.

Vitamin D is essential for life. Its major functions include:
- Calcium absorption
- Bone support
- Muscle function
- Immune support
- Cell regulation

If you think you are deficient in vitamin D, give us a call or schedule a consultation to see if an injection is right for you.
