Happy Hairstylist Appreciation Day 🥰

14 years ago, I walked into beauty school in Salt Lake City with a dream, a love of getting my own hair done, and a whole lot of passion. I could have never imagined the incredible journey that would follow—filled with growth, creativity, challenges, and so much gratitude.

Today, I’m thankful every single day for this career, this craft, and most of all—the amazing community I get to be part of. To my fellow stylists: your talent, support, and inspiration constantly lift me up. And to my clients: you’re truly the best part of it all. Your trust, loyalty, and friendship mean the world.

Here’s to the past 14 years of styling together and to whatever magic comes next. Thank you for being part of this beautiful ride with me!

While I’m silently in the middle of a haircut… a sweet random lady who is not in my chair says, “You can tell that you just love what you do.”

It stopped me in my tracks. You can tell that? How? I love that. And also yes I do love what I do. I love that you can tell that.
All I actually managed to say was ‘thank you I really do. ‘

It kind of felt like one of the best compliments ever🥹🥰

So for my products I that made it to my do not buy list I’m just going to do a voiceover on what I didn’t like that way you don’t have to read my paragraphs so you’re welcome 😂 Unfortunately Amikas heat protectant made onto my do not purchase list. The smell is so overwhelming that my clients and I choke and I am not sensitive to smells. So like I said it might do a great job protecting the hair but if you are sensitive to smells this product is not for you!

If you don’t understand what happens when you get your hairstylist sick, this is just a small breakdown. If you knowingly show up to your appointment sick, it’s beyond frustrating. Please reschedule. It’s the right thing to do. #sickclients #hairstylist

I get a lot of hate for this old hair choice but I honestly still loved it. It was so liberating and fun and E A S Y. 🤣 I don’t know that I’ll ever do it again but like JB said never say never.

My rule of thumb for all my long hair babes has always been get a good trimmy trim once a season to keep those split ends at bay so your hair can keep growing long✨

I feel so incredibly lucky to say that I still love my job so dang much and it’s thanks to all of you who choose to sit in my chair! My gratitude & appreciation for you guys is endless!🫶🏼
