We can finally see the finish line… but if we’re being honest, we’re cautiously optimistic and refusing to celebrate until we feel cold air. 😂

After what feels like the longest AC saga, our brand-new unit is officially scheduled to be installed 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆!

While the work is being completed, we’ll temporarily be operating out of 131 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝘃𝗱. — 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖 𝙛𝙚𝙬 𝙙𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣!

If you have an appointment, please make note of the temporary location. We’ll be there until the new unit is completely installed and Magnolia is nice and cool again. 🥶

Thank you SO much for rolling with the changes, sweating with us, laughing (𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨) with us, and being incredibly understanding through all of this. 🩷

We tried, y’all. We 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙔 tried.🥵

We’ve brought in the portable AC units, embraced the sweat, and told ourselves we could handle it. But August in Louisiana without AC is just too much for us to handle.

Unfortunately, the part we need STILL hasn’t arrived and it’s just getting too hot in the salon as the day goes on. 𝗦𝗼, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 2:00 𝗣𝗠.

We apologize for the inconvenience and truly appreciate everyone being so patient and understanding while we wait for our AC to get its life together. 🫠🩷

This week, we were heartbroken to learn of the passing of our longtime client, Ms. Loretta.

For many years, Alicia had the privilege of being Ms. Loretta’s stylist. Through countless appointments, conversations, laughs, and moments shared in her chair, a relationship was formed that went far beyond doing her hair.

Alicia was given the very special honor of doing Ms. Loretta’s hair one final time for her service. It was a beautiful and bittersweet way to care for someone who had trusted her for so many years.

Ms. Loretta will be deeply missed by Alicia and all of us at Magnolia who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Please join us in keeping her family and all those who loved her in your prayers during the difficult days ahead. May they find comfort in the memories they shared and in knowing how very loved she was. 🤍

Rest peacefully, Ms. Loretta. It was truly an honor to know you.
