Long haired girls -- when was the last time you had a trim? Did you know that your hair will actually appear longer and healthier if you trim it every 8-10 weeks?!

I know that scary feeling you get after it’s taken so long to grow out in the first place! When you start to get a split end and if you don’t cut it off, that split end will end up splitting further up the hair shaft. What does that mean exactly? It means what was once a long and thick strand of hair, is now thinner and more fragile. Yikes!

Now think about taking a brush to that extremely fragile hair strand. It’s probably going to become more fragile and maybe it will just break off. This is only ONE strand of your long hair. Think about if this was every strand of your hair….Are you with me now?

Here are a few reminders:

1: Make your next appointment NOW!
I have opened my books into June and my summer schedule will be limited. So if you know you will need in before your Summer trip, let's setup that appointment!

2: Arriving for your Appointment at Lumos
I have now been at Lumos Studios for 6 MONTHS, WOW time went by fast :)
When you arrive for your appointment, please come thru the double doors in to waiting area. If your appointment is 10 am or earlier you are welcome to come back to my room, #109. If you appointment is later, here is what I need for you to do:
1. Have a seat and I will come get you when I am ready for your appointment

2. Text me you have arrived and I will come get you or text you to come back

Please do either or both of these things, it helps so that the hallways are not crowded. This will also eliminate any one feeling rushed to finish/leave the studio when there is someone waiting at the door.

3: I need your HELP
I’m so excited to share my passion for beauty and everything fabulous with you, not just inside the salon, but out in the world too! To keep the connection alive and to bring you all the latest trends, tips, and behind-the-scenes fun, I’d love for you to follow and like my pages on Instagram and Facebook.
