Amber Jepsen's Senior Thesis Project at LCAD. It’s problem solving for the beauty industry one mascara at a time.
This is the official page for Amber Jepsen's Senior Thesis Project at Laguna College of Art + Design. The world of beauty is a multi-billion dollar industry covering everything from skincare, haircare and cosmetics. For my senior thesis, I am creating a platform within the beauty industry that combines digital and print medias in order to inform and educate consumers about beauty products. The foundation of the project will be an app and website that will function together, where users will create a profile and answer a questionnaire about their personal skin concerns and their beauty product use. Users will then be educated and informed about new products, ingredients, consumer reviews, shopping information and other factors that will help consumers purchase beauty products that are right for them. In addition to the app and website, there will be a monthly magazine, video tutorials, and special deals available to users of this digital beauty platform.
