Today was the first day of learning Tai Chi. I have been cleared with my doc with “no restrictions”. What does that mean? It really doesn’t mean much since I cannot ride any rides at Disneyland, cannot do any impact exercises and have to be careful when walking. My back gets sore if I bend down too much so I have to watch what I do. I have also lost much muscle mass and find things difficult to do because I am not as strong as I used to be.
That being said I look forward to, little by little, strengthening what I can without causing pain or injury! One day at a time😊
It has been a long time since posting on this page, and a lot that my body has gone through. A major back surgery that left me with some bolts and screws and a new way of looking at staying healthy. It has been a process and continues to be challenging. Never give up, keep an open mind, and be grateful!
