Good evening. Wanted to let you all know that I have been diagnosed with pneumonia. I am canceling tomorrow 11/6/24. I am hoping to be back on Thursday. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It is with great sadness, and heavy hearts that we are announcing that devonias dad passed away in the early hours this morning. He will forever live in our hearts with his witty comebacks and that devilish grin. He loved people, any and all people. And you held a special place in his heart if you could outcook one of his family members. Of course we figured out long ago, that was his way of getting something extra to snack on! He turned many life experiences into pretty exaggerated stories to share with all of his people, any and all people. Leon, you will be missed by so many …..

To those who have known me for a while, you know my dad has been a major part of my life. It is with a heavy heart that I have to share we have entered into the next/final stage of his life.
He was diagnosed with a lymphoma cancer on his sternum,stomach, and esophagus. He also had a minor stroke 2weeks ago.
We brought dad home on Hospice 2 weeks ago with the hope that he would improve and make a great recovery. Unfortunately he seems to be declining in bodily health. He still is alert and trying to communicate.
We are staying positive and believing God to make his time here to be enjoyable. I appreciate all of the prayers and good thoughts that you all have been sending. Keep them coming as we will continue to need them.
I am truly amazed and blessed to have so many wonderful, understanding, and compassionate people in my life.

Devonia has been an extremely important part of our lives for many years now and asked me to post this. She is committed to the responsibility of caring for her father while she works a normal schedule at Hairz 2 U. There will be changes made in her work schedule as her situation changes at home. Please continue to send her love, as we all all uncertain of the “when” in life. Hugs are completely acceptable……
