The decision to go back to hair after being a stay at home mom was purely to find *my* joy again outside of being a mom (the best job in the whole wide world btw). I have loved every minute with my clients. Clearly you have all loved your time with me as well - your constant messages are so appreciated. I am making behind the scenes moves right now and I will keep you all updated. 🫶🏼🫶🏼

To my amazing clients,

First and foremost, thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has reached out over the last two days to check on me, offer support, and make sure I was okay. Your kindness, loyalty, and encouragement have meant more than I can adequately express.

Yesterday, I was unexpectedly let go from my position at the salon. The only explanation I was given was that "we both know this isn't working out." I requested the opportunity to provide two weeks' notice so that I could personally contact my clients and ensure that those with upcoming appointments were not left without communication. Unfortunately, that request was denied.

I also asked to personally notify my clients of this change. Unfortunately, messages were sent out before I was given the opportunity to reach out myself. For that, I sincerely apologize. If you were surprised by the news or felt confused by the communication you received, please know that I had hoped to speak with each of you personally first.

Many of you have witnessed the challenges I have faced over the last 14 months, and your support throughout that time has never gone unnoticed. I am incredibly grateful for the trust you've placed in me, not only as your hairstylist but also as someone you've welcomed into your lives.

While this chapter ended much differently than I would have chosen, I am excited for what comes next. I want all of my clients to know that I fully intend to continue doing what I love, and I will be back behind the chair as soon as possible. I will be reaching out personally to each of you with updates and information about where you can find me next.

Thank you for your patience, your loyalty, and your overwhelming support. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful clients, and I look forward to seeing every one of you again very soon.

Happy Hairstylist Appreciation Day to all of my fellow stylists! Thank you for all your inspiration over the years. Bouncing ideas off each other. Learning and growing from one another. These last [many] years have been some of the best. When you choose a job you absolutely love, you'll never work a day in your life. 🫶🏼

The biggest thank you to Felicia for never (truly) kicking me out of her salon as THE most annoying kid in the world got under her feet 24/7 to see all the things she was doing. Its extremely rare to know at the age of 8 you've decided your career path and stick to it. I don't know if I would have chosen this career if it weren't for you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 🖤🖤 .x
