Intro post bc I’ve never done one. I’m not very active on this platform bc honestly it’s just more than I want to deal with on a daily basis.
I’m a gen X’er🤷🏼‍♀️
I started college with an interest in human services but realized very quickly that I needed something that was going to feed my creative spirit. So I enrolled in hair school. And here I still am but now with a focus on making your hair life fit easier into your real life. With 30 years of education and experience, I do it all but my favorite is gray transitioning and I’ve spent the last several years learning and becoming a specialist in this area.

Not that long ago I couldn’t picture myself ever going gray but eventually the maintenance started to become an annoying task that kept showing up on my calendar in the middle of me tryna live my best life. So i made a decision. And I LOVE MY GRAY HAIR!

Mimicking of the existing gray pattering in the hair is key to a seamless transition. I did not touch her regrowth. Everything was brought to her grow out line and matched. Of course maintaining the hair’s integrity is priority number one!!

From here she will have a gloss maintenance in about 4 weeks and again in 8 weeks. Then I will do another lightening phase and she should be good to go with just gloss maintenance for as long as she chooses.
