We have to stop enabling our family, frens, coworkers, children, etc. bc we are only blocking the message that God is trying to show/ teach them. Sometimes we have to sit back and let them hit rock bottom only for them to see that there is a God and he will get them thru Wateva it is they are goin thru. Yes it may hurt us to see them go thru the storm but remember we once was in the same predicament as them and we are still standing stronger than ever. Today I Celebrate me Thankful God woke me up this morning to see another day on this Beautiful Earth. Today I Celebrate my past trials and tribulations bc of them I Stand strong 10 toes down. I tip my Hat to more Blessed years to come.
I also wanna say Happy bday to everyone who share this special day with me as well 🎁🎉🎊🌻

To all business owners/ and everyone who has a day to day job. Take time for yourself it’s very important for your mental health. Remember you are only one person and you can’t please everyone even tho we try our best to do so. Sometimes we have to slow down to catch up. Revamp our schedule to protect our peace of mind. It’s ok to have a slow day just to reset your mental so you can focus on the weeks ahead. Don’t worry about money coming in bc if you put your trust in God he will take care of you always and allow your gift to make room for you. Do wats best for you at all times. Start your morning off with a good Prayer daily and end your night with one as well.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but listen yall…
The person who God has for you will not subtract from you. Your person will add to you and help you build in all areas mentally, emotionally, physically, financially, but above all SPIRITUALLY. So if you’re in a relationship/situationship and your person not adding to you in these areas then you need to rethink your situation. Never settle bc you feel lonely, or kids are involved, having a Peace of mind is more than anything. Just bc you have history with a person doesn’t mean that it’s your forever. God is not a God of confusion. But if you’re a person of confusion then you will stay and be comfortable with the chaos but a person who wants better will move accordingly knowing your WORTH.

Although our eyes are
trained on Francine, we still pause for a moment to remember.

The world changed forever on this day 23 years ago. To ensure we never forget, the 9/11 Memorial stands proudly on the City of Lake Charles Lakefront Promenade.

Designed by local artists Susan Arnold and Barry Carpenter, with input from community members, the 9/11 Memorial found its home by the lakefront on Bord du Lac Drive in 2005. The centerpiece of the monument is two 12-ft. beams, each weighing one ton, rising from a reflecting pool accessible by steppingstones, and are surrounded by the “Ribbon of Souls”, a stained-glass mosaic wall that includes shards of stained glass, one shard for each life that was lost in the attacks of September 11, 2001.

The mosaic shards on the left side represent the lives lost at the Pentagon and flow into the rear wall where the shards represent the lives lost at the World Trade Center Towers. The shards on the right side represent the lives lost in the crash of the hijacked airliner, Flight 93. Each section contains pieces of stained glass specific in color.

The stained glass was designed and made by the students of Susan Arnold from Grand Lake High School.

The clay area above the stained-glass wall features imprints of the fingertips of individuals from Southwest Louisiana and a 3 ft. x 6 ft. piece of limestone, from the Pentagon, bears engravings in memory of West Calcasieu resident, Russell Keene, who died in the World Trade Center attack, and Lake Charles native Kevin Yokum of the U.S. Navy, killed in the Pentagon attack.

Construction of the memorial was made possible through the generous donations of community members, school children, and businesses paired with enormous in-kind contributions from local and area businesses.
