Big News!

Dear Vanguard Customers in the Lake Charles Metro Area

In 2018, we made the decision to partner with SalonCentric in certain major markets of our area of distribution, the state of Louisiana. We strategically chose the areas of Monroe, Alexandria, Lafayette, and Covington at the time, with the potential to partner with additional stores in the future.

In 2020, based upon certain economic factors and the fact that a SalonCentric store was located right down the street from our Lake Charles store, it only made good business sense to plan to close our store and partner with the local SalonCentric store. Our initial goal was to not renew our store lease in August and close our store in July.

Then COVID-19 happened.

Suffice to say, none of us saw this coming and I can safely say this pandemic has altered the 2020 plans of many businesses across our country and the globe. With that said, it once again only made good business sense to not reopen our Lake Charles store and for it to remain closed.

The good news is that SalonCentric is currently gearing up to stock their Lake Charles store with JPMS products as soon as they can and we will announce to everyone when we have a confirmed date for you to visit their store and get the Paul Mitchell products you need. In the meantime, once we are able to reopen, our Slidell warehouse will be able to supply all your salon Paul Mitchell product needs in time for the new reopen date of May 15th.
