One of the biggest parts of my job isn’t just doing hair—it’s educating my clients.

This transformation is a great example. 👉 The first photo shows how the hair lifted during the lightening process from black box dye. The second photo is the finished result.

Could I have pushed it lighter? Maybe.

Should I have? Absolutely not.

Healthy hair will always come before chasing an unrealistic result in one appointment.

Every head of hair has a different history. Previous color, box dye, old highlights, medications, water quality, heat damage, and even genetics all affect how your hair lifts. That’s why no ethical stylist can promise that your hair will look exactly like an inspiration photo after one visit.

As your stylist, I’ll always be transparent with you. If I think your goal is achievable, I’ll tell you. If I think it will take multiple sessions to protect the integrity of your hair, I’ll tell you that too.

I’d rather have an honest conversation than overpromise and compromise your hair.

My goal isn’t just beautiful hair today—it’s making sure your hair is healthy enough to keep creating beautiful results in the future. 🤍
