Three years ago, I took a leap and became the very first Salon Pro to sign on at IMAGE Studios Laguna Hills… and what a journey it’s been ✨

Today we celebrate 3 years open, and I’m so grateful to Barry and Wendi for their vision, leadership, and the incredible community they’ve built. Being part of this from the very beginning has been something truly special.

Watching this space grow has meant more to me than I can put into words.

And now… I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead. To step into ownership and be part of bringing IMAGE Studios Huntington Beach to life is such an honor. I can’t wait to build something just as amazing there.

Here’s to where we started… and where we’re going

Ok Here’s the big news!!!

This week the lease was officially signed for Image Studios Huntington Beach and I’m incredibly honored and grateful to share that Wendi and Barry have invited me to become their partner and Operational Manager for this new location.

After 38 years in the hair industry, opportunities like this don’t come along every day, and I’m so excited to be part of building something special with such an amazing team.

To all of my wonderful clients, nothing is changing with your appointments in Laguna Hills. I will still be behind the chair doing the hair I love and taking care of all of you.

Once Huntington Beach opens (projected for the end of this year), I will likely spend one day a week there, which will also make it easier for many of my Long Beach clients to see me.

Today the beauty industry lost an icon, a visionary, a legend. This picture was taken in my 20’s in London. I was trying to move to London. Trevor Sorbie said if Redken gave me a work permit I could work for him, Redken said if Trevor Sorbie gave me a work permit I could work for them. It never came to fruition but I was so thrilled to meet my Idol. I watched an interview two weeks ago where Trevor said he would live past Christmas. I’m sorry he didn’t make it. But even in the interview he was positive and as always funny. Rest in Peace Trevor. May your memory be a blessing.

Salon professionals come check out this Sunday from 1-4. I am so very happy here. The owners are amazing! The salon professional’s are all very nice and…professional. There are still 3 window spots available! Lots of parking, clean, professional, modern and things get fixed right away!
